VOW Guest Policy

General Booking Policy

  • Travel rules may vary by destination and season.
  • Guests must comply with all applicable laws and government guidelines.
  • Policies may differ by booking and will be communicated at booking or during check-in.
  • “VOW” includes its affiliates, employees, and officers.
  • “Properties” include Hotels, Resorts, Villas, Serviced Apartments, and Homes listed on VOW.

Check-in & Check-out Policy

  • The primary guest must be 18+ years.
  • Check-in and check-out timings vary by property and must be verified before booking.
  • Original valid photo ID is mandatory for all guests above 18:
  • Accepted: Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport PAN Card is not accepted
  • Guests without valid original ID will not be allowed to check in.

*If check-in issues are not resolved by the Property, contact VOW immediately. After verification, VOW may:

a) Arrange stay at the same property, or

b) Provide alternate accommodation (subject to availability)

  • No refund is applicable for force majeure events (natural calamities, government restrictions, etc.).
  • Early check-in and late check-out are not allowed.
  • Room keys must be returned; charges apply for lost keys. Extra beds are chargeable.
  • Third-person entry, visitors, or misuse of amenities is not allowed.

Booking Extension Policy

  • Stay extension is subject to room availability and will be charged at the current prevailing tariff, not the original booking rate.
  • Cancellation & Refund Policy (Updated) Bookings can be cancelled via the VOW App.

Refund Amount:

  • 48 hours prior to check-in → 40% of advance payment will be refunded.
  • Refunds are credited immediately to the VOW Wallet.
  • Wallet balance can be used for future bookings.

Time Format:

  • All timelines follow 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM.
  • Refunds will not be processed to bank accounts.

Some properties:

  • Do not allow unmarried couples.
  • Do not accept local ID proofs These rules are visible in House Policies before booking.
  • No refund will be provided if violated.

Check-in may be denied for:

  • Invalid ID
  • Unaccompanied minors
  • Suspicious behavior

No refund applicable

No Show

*If the guest does not arrive and is unreachable, no refund will be issued.

Mid-Stay Cancellation:

No refund after check-in if the stay is shortened.

Property Dislike at Check-in:

No refund, as photos and details are already provided on the listing.

Triple Occupancy Policy

  • Some properties allow triple occupancy with an extra mattress at additional cost.
  • More than two same-gender guests are not allowed in one room.

Visitors Policy

  • Visitors may meet guests only in the lobby during daytime (emergencies excluded).
  • Visitors are not allowed inside rooms or for overnight/day stay.
  • Third-party access and amenity usage is strictly prohibited.

Child Policy

  • One child up to 5 years stays free without an extra mattress.
  • Breakfast charges may apply based on property policy.

Code of Conduct

Illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

Guests may be refused service or evicted for:

  • Non-payment
  • Disorderly behavior
  • Damage to property or guests

*Guests must maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Smoking, Drugs & Alcohol

  • Smoking rules vary by property—confirm with the Front Desk.
  • Drug use or suspicion thereof will be reported immediately to the police under the NDPS Act, 1985.
  • Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in public areas (lobby, hallways, parking).
  • In-room consumption is subject to property approval and must not disturb others

Safety & Security

  • Follow fire safety and emergency procedures at all times.
  • VOW and Properties are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Contact Policies

  • Guests may be contacted before check-in to confirm arrival.
  • Non-response may result in booking cancellation.
  • Guests may be contacted for feedback or promotional offers.

Beware of Fraudulent Payments

*Payments are accepted only via official VOW or affiliated OTA gateways.

*Any other payment request is fraudulent.

*VOW is not liable for losses from unauthorized payments.
